Ayvalik
Previously, it was claimed that the area around Ayvalik was the site of Atlantis’ lost city, but what is now known is that Turkey offers some of the best diving in the world, particularly around Yuvarlak Island, Gunes Island, and Kerbela Rocks. The most famous area of this place is the seas off Kiz Island, which feature amazing underwater biodiversity from a depth of 19 meters.
Kusadasi
Kusadasi, an underwater realm in the Aegean near Didim, offers amazing opportunities to witness marine life as well as the opportunity to search for a purposefully sunken former coast guard ship. It is one of the top scuba diving places in Turkey, with an A300 Airbus, close to Davutlar, near Kusadasi.
