The amenities at the entrance to the Kayaci Valley in the district of Erdemli, which significantly contributes to natural tourism, welcome visitors every year. In collaboration with the Regional Directorate of Forestry, the Erdemli Branch Directorate, and the Regional Directorate of Forestry, an ecotourism field research was carried out this year.
As part of the project, forest employees built a 3.5-kilometer walking area. In the 3.5-kilometer walking area, wooden bridges, trails, and rest areas were built to cross the stream. The valley has acquired a special relevance as an ecotourism destination thanks to its forested areas, sound of flowing water, and variety of bird species.
