Ömer Demez, the President of the Vadi Nature Sports Club, shared that their discovery of the lake occurred just a year ago, thanks to photographs sent by a shepherd. Inspired by the breathtaking images, they embarked on their inaugural expedition to the region, meticulously planning the route to reach the lake.

“In the current year, we successfully organized a gathering of 21 individuals for a remarkable event at the glacier lake. The lake’s stunning natural beauty leaves an enduring impact. Interestingly, the lake currently displays a fascinating juxtaposition of seasons, with winter prevailing in the upper part and spring in the lower part. Witnessing the coexistence of these two seasons is a truly enchanting experience. Our goal is to promote this magnificent destination, similar to how people visit the Swiss Alps, and work towards attracting visitors here. It is crucial to preserve and protect the lake while also developing it for tourism. This place is truly a marvel of nature that deserves the utmost admiration.”
